What began informally is now taking clearer shape.

The roles needed to build and safeguard cOMmon are no longer abstract ideas in the background. They have been defined, discussed, and in some cases already taken up. Others remain open, ready to be stepped into as the work continues to evolve.

This is what we now call the Founding Circle.

Not as a program, and not as a selection process, but as a visible layer of people who choose to carry continuity as cOMmon moves forward.

The roles are visible

Contributors, Builders, Stewards, Ambassadors, Advisors. These are no longer conceptual categories. They represent concrete domains of responsibility, each containing real jobs that shape how cOMmon grows, stabilizes, and stays aligned.

Some of these roles are already being carried. Others are emerging as activity increases.

Together, they form the working and safeguarding layer of the ecosystem.

Why this matters now

As activity expands through platform development, community building, cooperative design, and regeneration initiatives, direction and coherence become more important.

The people who step into these roles do not simply contribute occasionally. They influence how decisions are shaped, how priorities are set, and how the long-term integrity of cOMmon is protected.

This is where carrying becomes structured.
