The online habitat, platform and tool

for regenerative people, spaces and practices.

What is cOMmon?

cOMmon is not a platform you use. It’s a network you grow with. A tool that makes your (farm) life easier.
We connect people rooted in place (Rootsers) with those who move freely between spaces (Roamers) and nurture the relationships, practices and values that make that meeting meaningful.
Rootsers streamline their day-to-day (tasks, calendar, team, harvest & stays). Roamers organise their contribution (skills, availability, projects). Together, you track value and grow shared ownership.

Our vision is regenerative:

For rootsers

You are grounded in a region. You may have land, a garden or space, but it’s not required.

What defines you is your deep connection to your local context: nature, people, place.

Your strength lies in rootedness and orientation.

For roamers

You move freely. You may live on the road or in transition.
You bring skills, energy and care and seek places where your presence can make a difference.

You are a builder, listener, connector or supporter.

Why we do things differently

cOMmon is a commons, and a toolset,  not a traditional platform.

Where it all began

The seed for cOMmon was planted in 2005, with a personal question:

“What kind of world will I leave for my daughter?”

This sparked a lifelong search for an alternative, a way of living rooted in care, reciprocity and shared responsibility.

The idea simmered for years, with a few early attempts. But the timing, the people and the tools were not aligned yet.

In 2024, things started to flow. First through no-code tools, to make the idea visible. Then, in collaboration with a developer, a full rebuild began. With better technology and clearer vision, things accelerated.

On July 28, 2024, the idea was relaunched.

On July 10, 2025, the first MVP was launched.
