Manifesto
The 7 guiding principles of cOMmon.
A compass for a shared future
The cOMmon Manifesto is not a rulebook or a pitch. It’s a living compass that offers direction, in a world full of urgency, exhaustion and complexity.
We’re not here to be perfect. We’re here to build honestly. This manifesto helps us remember why we exist, what we’re aiming for, and how we want to journey.
It grows through feedback, experience and community.

01
Not a product, a process.
cOMmon is not only a tool or service. It is a growing movement. We evolve with people, seasons and land.
02
Not users, participants.
You are not here to consume only. You are also here to co-create. Your presence matters.
03
Mutual value, not transactions.
Contributions arise from care, not contracts. Time and attention matter just as much as funds.
04
Ownership is shared, earned and dynamic.

No venture capital. No speculative exits. Ownership grows through ongoing contribution.
05
Regeneration is our compass.
We want to repair more than we extract, in nature, relationships and systems. Slowness is part of that.
06
cOMmon is a commons.
What we build, we share. There is no central power. Trust is the infrastructure.
07
The future is cooperative, or it isn’t.
We don’t fix the old. We prototype the new, together.
How this lives in practice
The manifesto weaves through everything:
→ Membership shows how we honour value
→ Shared ownership shows how we share responsibility
→ Intentions shows how we move and decide
If this resonates, you’re already part of the change.
