That’s why cOMmon doesn’t open all at once. It unfolds, in steps, as you choose to engage. Not to hold you back. But to hold the space. So that when we do meet, it’s with real presence, trust, and intention.

Why we work with Gateways

Gateways are not barriers. They’re invitations.

Gateways are not a ladder, but a map. You can pause, return, or take a side path.

They help you find your rhythm. They protect the space we’re building, not through exclusion, but through clarity. And they ensure that what’s visible here is real.

Gateway 1: Explore

You’ve signed up. You’re inside.

You can see the full map of opportunities, projects, jobs, events, spaces. But only a preview. No details. No connection. You can start drafting your own opportunities, but they remain private. It’s a space for quiet observation and first steps.

Gateway 2: Connect

You’ve supported cOMmon with a membership (launching soon).

You’ve unlocked the ability to connect, but you’re still not visible yet. Your profile isn’t complete, so others can’t discover you or what you offer. Still, this is a meaningful step. You’re supporting the ecosystem and opening the way.

Gateway 3: Collaborate

Now your profile is complete, and you become visible. You can be found through search and receive messages. You can publish your completed opportunities and spaces, making them visible to others. You can now trade, collaborate, host, book, and apply. This is where presence meets action.

Gateway 4: Grow

You’ve joined a Collective Mind learning session or completed a job.

This unlocks your personal Compass, a tracker of your growth and contribution inside cOMmon. This space invites reflection, direction, and depth.

Gateways 5 & 6: Co-create & Steward

These are still forming, for those who want to go further. Help shape the platform, care for its values, and join the design of the cooperative. We'll share more about these roles soon.

Where are we now?

Because memberships haven’t launched yet, everyone currently sits in Gateway 2 or 3. But when the first membership phase starts, those who haven’t chosen to support cOMmon financially will move back to Gateway 1.

That means: No visibility. No access to details. No interaction.

So if you’re serious about being part of this, now is the time to complete your profile, step into presence and have the full experience for free, no strings attached.

We want you to grow at your own pace. But we also believe in clear signals:

And it begins with being seen.
